Welcome to The Nest, a cozy cottage in a tiny town. The Nest is your own private retreat located just a short stroll away from historic downtown Brownsville. Situated right next to the historic millrace which once powered the Brownsville Woolen Mills and sawmill, The Nest is steps away from antique shops, casual dining,the Linn County Historical Museum, and one of the best swimming holes on the Calapooia River.

Quiet and peaceful, The Nest is a perfect hideaway…..you might even spot the doe and her fawn as they wander through the garden in the evening, stopping to eat our roses! At dusk, you can hear the Great Horned Owls calling to each other.

You will enjoy a comfy Queen-sized bed, a full bath and shower, sitting area with microwave, mini-refrigerator, personal DVD player, and a comfortable porch with a pasture view.

If you are celebrating a special occasion or in the mood for a little self-indulgence, try our Deluxe overnight experience. For your afternoon or evening arrival, we will stock The Nest with your choice of a topnotch Oregon red or white wine (or champagne, if you prefer), a lovely tray with an array of cheeses, breads, olives, and assorted hors d'ouevres, chocolate truffles, and scented candles.
In the morning, the newspaper will arrive before breakfast along with biscotti or luscious pastry and a gift pack of local jams and preserves to take home..
